New investment analyst appointed at Bonum

Helen Sandlie Eriksen is moving from her position as senior associate at Deloitte to investment analyst at Bonum Utvikling.
Eriksen worked as an auditor at Deloitte for just over two years before she started at the newly established Bonum Utvikling, which is a sister company to Bonum. Bonum Utvikling became operational on 1 August 2016, and is led by Salman Saeed and Kjell Kristian Olstad.
Since its inception, Bonum Utvikling has been in high demand and has appointed Ulrik Elstad Framstad, who has a degree in economics with a master's in finance, as well as Helen Sandlie Eriksen.
Eriksen started at Bonum Utvikling on 1 December 2016, where she works as an investment analyst. Her primary tasks are to assess new projects and find relevant partners, and to follow up the financial aspect from A to Z.
– I have always been passionate about real estate, an interest that was further developed at Deloitte when I audited property companies. Over time, the financial aspect became more interesting and the desire to work within investment meant that I wanted to change employer, she says.
Eriksen says that the choice fell quite easily on Bonum Utvikling. As Bonum has a reputation for being innovative, with forward-thinking employees who dare to challenge the industry as it is today.
– In addition, it was a big bonus that Bonum Utvikling was relatively new, which gives me the opportunity to help shape the company going forward, she emphasises.
Necessary expertise
Kjell Kristian Olstad, investment director at Bonum Utvikling, is pleased to have Eriksen on the team.
– Helen is a positive person with broad financial expertise and understanding. She is meticulous and thorough in everything she does and has great work capacity, says Olstad.
They hired Eriksen, among others, to gain broader financial expertise at company level in development projects.
– It is incredibly important to see the whole picture in development projects, and with a background as an auditor one has a commercial understanding of how to optimise a project with company structure, tax and VAT. Bonum Utvikling is particularly concerned with doing things right from the start, which is why we spend a lot of time on optimisation. With Helen on the team, Bonum Utvikling has the necessary expertise to succeed with precisely this, concludes Olstad.
