– If all goes according to plan, the shop will be ready in early 2026 and home buyers will thus be able to use the shop already when they move in, says Bonum chief Anders Bakken Eriksen following the sale of the commercial section in a project they own together with Coop Norge Eiendom and three other property companies.

In a press release, Bonum announces that it has sold the commercial premises in its residential project in Marstrandgata at Rodeløkka in Oslo to Coop Øst SA. The sales price has not been disclosed.

The project is owned by Bonum, Coop Norge Eiendom, Chrisanic Eiendom, Trionor and Investire Eiendom. The commercial space that Coop is buying is just under 800 square metres, according to the statement.

– The purchase contract has now been signed, the commercial section will be delivered almost complete and operations are planned to commence when the building is handed over. If all goes according to plan, the shop will be ready in early 2026. Home buyers will thus be able to use the shop already when they move in, says Anders Bakken Eriksen, managing director and partner at Bonum, via Tuesday's press release.

"There are large windows with an active façade facing the public street, which provides good visibility and is in line with Extra's preferences", writes Bonum in the press release.

– We have very good experience with the Extra concept and look forward to establishing ourselves in the local area, states deputy managing director Bjørn Tore Skaug at Coop Øst SA via the same statement.

The new building will have a brick façade and will feature a clearly defined plinth that separates the commercial and residential sections, according to Bonum.

– We have spent considerable time adapting the project to the market and are confident that the market will receive the residential project well when the sales launch takes place shortly, says project manager Eskild Skåttun at Bonum via the press release.

The area at Rodeløkka has previously been characterised by a great deal of industry. According to Skåttun, Bonum is pleased with "the industrial design language in the architecture from Vigsnæs + Kosberg", with traditional brick and embellishments.

– This combined with a corresponding focus on good internal solutions, as well as lovely roof terraces, both private and communal, we believe will suit both the area and the buyer group well, says the project manager.
