Markus Thrygg is the newest addition to Bonum Utvikling's investment department.

Thrygg started as an investment analyst at Bonum Utvikling on 1 June. He will work on the evaluation of property projects, analysis and financing of the larger projects run under the auspices of Bonum Utvikling AS. Thrygg is a 24-year-old, newly graduated economist from the University of Colorado, and between his bachelor's and master's studies has also spent time in the analysis department at Akershus Eiendon. He has also previously competed at the highest level in cross-country skiing.

"I became interested in property early on because of a father who is in the industry. Incredibly exciting to work with something so visible and important in people's everyday lives," he says.

Thrygg is, incidentally, the son of the more high-profile Eirik Thrygg, the head of Høegh eiendom. The fact that the choice fell on Bonum was no coincidence either.

"I've always wanted to work in a young and progressive environment with great ambitions, it wasn't difficult to see that Bonum was exactly that," he says.

High activity

Salman Saeed, managing director of Bonum Utvikling, is pleased to have Thrygg join the team.

"We are currently experiencing great activity and have already this year set up three new development projects in Oslo city centre. As a result of this, we needed to strengthen our investment department further, and are very pleased to have Markus on the team. Markus has exactly the profile we are looking for, both professionally and on a personal level. He is a cheerful, positive and outgoing chap with great work capacity, and a burning interest in the property sector," he concludes.
