One of the largest housing projects in Romerike.

Boligpartner, Bonum and Hellvik Hus will together develop Fossumjordet in Sørum municipality in Akershus, reports Estate Nyheter.

The project, which has been named Sørumsvingen, will become a new neighbourhood a few hundred metres from the municipal centre and the railway station. According to the local newspaper Indre Akershus Blad, this will be one of the largest housing projects in Romerike.

600 homes, with space for between 1,200 and 1,500 new residents, will be built over a ten-year period. The estimated sales value is 2 to 2.5 billion kroner, reports Estate Nyheter.

"Work on the infrastructure starts in the spring. In autumn 2020, the first homes could be ready for occupation," says project director Knut Moe at Boligpartner to Indre Akershus Blad.

Sales start is in March/April, according to the newspaper, initially terraced houses and small housing developments. Flats will be released in the next phase.
