Nine Bonum Signatur flats are looking for new owners.

Bonum purchased the historic townhouse at Drammensveien 41 last year. The childhood home of Fred. Olsen and former Noble Dancer, the 1980s nightclub run by Rune Johansson. In recent years, the building has been used as office space, but the building's glory days are far from over. Now the villa is being transformed into nine exclusive flats.

"Villa Fredly will be remembered as a project completely out of the ordinary. We are targeting quality-conscious buyers who set high standards for details in execution and design. People who want a centrally located flat with generous space," says Ruben Wilhelmsen, marketing director and partner at Bonum.

Bonum is approaching the end of the project, and Wilhelmsen confirms that the flats will be put up for sale before the summer.

New attire in an old shell

"For the project to succeed, we need to get it right on several levels: these are challenges Bonum thrives on and has good experience with from before. In addition, we are fortunate to have very good expertise in-house, both in design and project planning, so we are equipped for this type of project," Wilhelmsen continues.

Bonum has several interested parties, but does not wish to comment on whether any bids have been received.

"The conversion has been very extensive and has demanded a great deal from everyone involved. The challenge is to build new flats in an old shell, which must be preserved in its entirety. This places high demands both on the project planning, but also on the construction department and their ability to solve unforeseen challenges," he says.

Right at the top tier

Nine flats are being built, all with their own parking space and some spanning two floors. The sizes will vary from 85 to 192 square metres, and the prices range from 9 to 21 million kroner. These flats fall under the Bonum Signatur category, which means exclusive flats with a high standard. The flats will have facilities such as custom-made walk-in wardrobes, spa-style bathrooms, foyer and other areas for the co-owners' shared use, wine room, exclusive material selections, utility areas, fantastic ceiling height, balconies, to name a few.

"Bonum invests an enormous amount of time and resources in designing these. The flats will all be executed in a modern yet elegant and luxurious style, and they will definitely be in the top tier of what the market has to offer," Wilhelmsen emphasises.

"The customer group for property in this segment is naturally relatively small, given the prices, but if you get the location and qualities of the project right, the buyers are there immediately," the marketing director concludes.
