Jo Espen Vindøy moves from analyst at Norges Bank to the property company Bonum.
After three years as an analyst at Norges Bank Investment Management (the Oil Fund), Jo Espen Vindøy will strengthen the finance department at Bonum. He will be central to the financial monitoring of property projects and a resource in the internal development of the organisation.
Vindøy holds a Cand.merc degree from Copenhagen Business School and brings international work experience from New York.
"It's incredibly exciting to be given so much responsibility from day one. I have a background from the equity and bond markets and wanted to move into an operational role in property. Bonum has broad expertise in property and here I can learn the trade from A to Z. Furthermore, I get a holistic approach to property development by working with project management, financial management, financing and internal operations," he says.
Strengthening the team
Jan Fredrik Jorddal, finance director at Bonum, says that Bonum has long been looking for someone like Vindøy and points to his expertise.
"As part of Bonum's growth strategy, we are now strengthening the team with several talented candidates in finance and management. Jo Espen will have a central role both operationally and financially at Bonum. With his previous experience, we believe it will be a good match, both today and for the future at Bonum," he concludes.
