Has a land bank worth ten billion

– Bonum delivered at group level a turnover of 247 million kroner and an annual result of 94.7 million kroner, says Thomas B. Bø, managing director of Bonum AS.
When asked how they view the figures for 2017, he replies:
– The turnover is reduced from 2016, as a result of several sales of property and property portfolios in AS. The turnover does not show the whole picture either at the top or bottom, and the number of projects in the land bank has increased significantly throughout the year. When it comes to turnover of property, this is not recognised as income until the property is sold to the end user.
– How was 2016 compared to 2017?
– As in 2016, we have sold property and property portfolios that are structured in AS. The sales value of property in 2017 is around 50% higher than in 2016. Overall, we ended up above last year and are satisfied with that, he says.
Reached the goal
– Last year you told Estate Nyheter that you had a goal of increasing the land bank to 10 billion. How close are you to that goal?
– Everyone has worked diligently towards achieving this, and before the summer we signed the last projects that increased the development value to just over 10 billion kroner in estimated sales values. We are very satisfied with that, and I want to give a big thank you to all employees who have made it possible to actually get there, almost half a year ahead of schedule, replies Bø.
Regarding the outlook for the market going forward, he considers the probability of a dramatic and sustained fall in housing prices to be low, given the situation otherwise with strong economic development, low unemployment and historically low interest rates, which in turn suggest low degrees of default and that the conditions for generally high demand should be present.
