Bonum Utvikling has made its second major transaction

Bonum Utvikling has made its second major transaction in connection with the purchase of Marstrandgata 9 and 11 at Rodeløkka in Oslo. Bonum, which is responsible for project management in Bonum Utvikling's projects, is scheduled to begin the application process and plans to develop approximately 85 flats.

"In today's somewhat selective market, it is important to be able to make good acquisitions with a focus on location. With the purchase of Marstrandgata, Bonum has secured two adjacent properties in an area with limited space, which have not been on the market," says Salman Saeed, managing director and partner in Bonum Utvikling.

Saeed does not wish to comment on the price or who the seller is.

"Bonum has already engaged an architect and is in the process of design work, and is scheduled to go to a preliminary conference with PBE just after the summer. The properties already lie within the development area for housing in the municipal plan," says Saeed.

The project will be built to the Bonum standard "Urban Living" with the associated additional qualities, and is scheduled to come to market for sale in summer 2019.

Bonum Utvikling took over the management of the building upon acquisition on 7 April.
