This follows UMP's decision from 12 June regarding the division of the so-called plot B3 in Kolbotn town centre into two development phases.
"Through phasing requirements, the area plan for Kolbotn town centre shall contribute to several measures that benefit the general public. A division of B3 into two development phases may lead to faster implementation of important measures in the area plan", writes chief municipal executive Lars Henrik Bøhler in his recommendation to UMP.
He therefore wishes to facilitate the footpath system around Kolbotnvannet being realised quickly, and in a straightforward way for the municipality. Bøhler continues by writing that pending development phase two, the developer can realise a floating jetty/a footpath connection on floating elements on the outside of plot B3 in Kolbotnvannet.
The municipality owns the waterfront up to Kantorbekken and is willing to make this available for implementation.
Inner town park loop
An inner town park loop around Veslebukta can thereby be established within a few years, according to the chief municipal executive.
The requirement for a footpath in plot GF3 (the edge of Kolbotnvannet) shall be maintained, but realised in phase two. Phasing requirements for a pavement along Båtsleppa are also linked to building phase two.
