Bonum has applied for outline planning permission for a combined residential and commercial building with 73 flats at Rodeløkka in Oslo.

Bonum has applied for outline planning permission for a combined residential and commercial building with 73 flats at Rodeløkka in Oslo.
Already in 2018, Estate Nyheter wrote about Bonum Utvikling's wish to rezone Marstrandgata 9, 11 and Stockholmgata 20 at Rodeløkka in Oslo from industrial to residential with commercial premises on the ground floor. Now it is clear that the property developer is submitting an application for outline planning permission for the project.
Architectural firm Vigsnæs + Kosberg is the responsible applicant for Bonum. The project will contain approximately 73 flats, as well as commercial premises on the ground floor.
"A good variety of flat types is now being designed, from 2-room flats of 38 square metres to 4-room flats of up to 120 square metres, some with rental potential. Several of the 4-room flats will also have private roof terraces. Great emphasis has been placed on architectural quality in the development of the project, with a strong environmental profile," says project manager Eskild Skåttun at Bonum.
Sales start in autumn
Bonum is planning a sales launch as early as this autumn and believes the market will receive the project well.
"We have worked extensively on area adaptation, sustainability and design in this project, as we do in all our residential developments. This excellent area at Rodeløkka has previously been characterised by a lot of industry, and we are very pleased with the industrial design language in the architecture from Vigsnæs + Kosberg, with traditional brick and ornamentation. This, combined with a corresponding focus on good solutions internally, as well as excellent roof terraces, both private and communal, we believe will suit both the area and the buyer group well when we enter the market in autumn 2022 according to plan," says Anders Bakken Eriksen, group chief executive at Bonum.
