Axer bought from Bonum

Axer Eiendom has secured a new property in Ullern in Oslo and plans to start selling flats at Ullernhøyden this year.
The property acquired from Bonum is one of several transformation projects the company will now develop with a focus on sustainability.
"What's exciting here is how we reuse existing building stock and construct new flats on top. This is something we have good experience with from previous projects at Axer, this is both profitable and sustainable. It also gives the project unique qualities where no flats are alike, whilst the building's identity is preserved," says Tom-Erik Sørensen, project manager at Axer in Østlandet, in a press release.
The homes will be state of the art with high quality. Several of the flats will have ceiling heights of up to four metres with a fantastic view over the Oslofjord. The project will have a large and varied shared roof terrace. In addition, provision is made for several shared services, such as a communal lounge and living room with kitchen, as well as activity areas with guest bathroom. The objective is increased living quality and strengthened community amongst the residents.
"Here, good meeting places, sharing of resources and sustainable solutions for the future are central. In addition to building flats and communal areas of high quality, the central location close to the metro station and proximity to the city centre is an important quality," the press release states.
"The combination of conversion, preservation and new construction places high demands on us as property developers, as we must take existing construction into account whilst creating modern and functional homes. This means we must work thoroughly and purposefully to find the best solutions and ensure flats of high quality. Transformation projects require both precision and creativity, but we are confident that we will develop flats with high living quality," says Sørensen.
The takeover took place on 3 March, and Newsec was the agent.
Axer Eiendom is already well underway with the preliminary project in collaboration with the architect and contractor.
